The Shadowkith are creatures descended of Shadow – and as such have a natural affinity with that realm. It was when fighting the human invaders in the Southern Kingdoms that they realised that they could cause these humans to rise again. This powerful spell destroyed the link of the Human to the sprit realm – however it granted no control over the person they had brought back from the realm of Shadow
It was when the Human’s managed to duplicate the magicks of the Shadowkith that the tide of the war turned. Believing their gifts to be granted to them by the Earth Mother herself they thought that bringing their strongest warriors back to keep on fighting was a great honour.
In the north lands the Shadowkith and the humans there allied quickly and were tempted to the dark ways of the Shadowkith. It is not just the ability to bring people back to life that is gifted by necromancy – but the ability to cause pain in your enemies or to harm others. However there is a price to all magicks and those skilled in necromancy have to take wounds and pain on their body onto themselves to be able to do it. It is said that those skilled in necromancy can even take the life of someone to heal themselves to full health again. .
Necromancy Spells
Requires: Necromancy
Learning Necromancy allows the choice of one Necromancy Spell. Other spells may be bought instead of skills. One spell instead of one skill. Once a Necromancy spell is learnt it may be cast as many times a day as possible.
All spells are active therefore cannot be cast whilst crippled. All spells, including Necromancy spells, channel power from another Realm. You cannot use any active skills whilst performing a spell – so you may not fight during the rite stage.
