Status Effects
Status Effects

These are effects that have special rules, but are not necessarily weapon blows. A call cannot have more than one status effect and no more than two components. Like damage calls, if you have multiple options you must choose between them.
You may not use a Status Effect unless you have a skill, item or rite effect that allows you to do so.
Bind  – your legs are immobilised, and you cannot move from the spot. You may shift your position to make yourself more comfortable. Durational, thirty seconds
Hold  – you are immobilised, and cannot move at all. You may shift your position to make yourself more comfortable. You are conscious, may see, hear and speak quietly. You may not perform Rites. Durational, thirty seconds
No Affect - used in response to being targeted by a status effect if you are not affected by it.
Repel – You must move away from the source of the effect and cannot approach it. You may stand your ground, but must role-play extreme effort and cannot perform any other actions. Durational, thirty seconds
Reflect – used in response to being targeted by a status effect. The source of the effect takes it instead of you.
Wound – inflicts a wound to the named location
Writhe – you are under the crippled state for one minute.  Durational, ten seconds.
Pact - Character cannot take hostile action against the caster, and caster cannot take hostile against the target, for ten Minutes
Shadow-pact - As above – but only works on creatures of the Shadow realms. This does not work on Risen.
Life Pact - As above – but only works on living creatures.  This does not work on Risen or creatures of the Shadow realms
Truth Tell - The next question asked must be answered truthfully.  If no question is asked within a Minute then the spell is wasted
